Fergus started his legal career in Glasgow before co-founding Bell + Craig in 1991.
Fergus deals in all areas of conveyancing both Commercial and Residential. He has a particular interest in the sale, purchase and leasing of retail premises including Off-licences and acts for a number of retail businesses in the area. He also acts for Builders, Developers and Banks in major commercial transactions and has an interest in Company Law.
He was involved in a leading case in the Lands Tribunal of Scotland and has contributed to the Scots Law Times. He also steered the firm through its recent Investors In People re-accreditation.
He wrote and designed the Commercial Lease course at University of Stirling where he is a part-time Lecturer and Tutor and he is also a Trustee of the Stirling Smith Art Gallery.
He enjoys Tennis and supports the Scottish Rugby Team.
