Richard was originally trained in Edinburgh and originally specialising in Litigation. He is head of Bell & Craig's Court Department specialising in Family Law and Employment Law as well as carrying out Residential Conveyancing. He also advises on Employment/Service Contracts and Compromise Agreements.

He enjoys hillwalking and sings in the Roseneath Choir (a local choir).
